US -Hyperechoic plaque-like thickening of the tunica albuginea some demonstrating calcifications. Incidental note is made of a few scattered testicular microliths.

Reveal Discussion

Diffuse fibrous pseudotumor of the scrotum, also known as fibromatous periorchitis, represents a benign reactive proliferation of inflammatory and fibrous tissue. It is probably related to chronic irritation (repetitive trauma, infection, surgery or inflammation). At sonography, thickening of the tunica with linear calcifications or confluent nodular masses.
