Diagnosis

Testicular Leukemia Recurrence

Findings

US – Large hypoechoic and hypervascular mass of the left testicle.

Discussion

Leukemic infiltration of the testicle is often the first site of extramedullary relapse. Testicular involvement is seen in 8% of children with leukemia and usually indicates disseminated disease. Testicular leukemia occurs in the interstitium and may be diffuse or focal. Lesions are usually hypoechoic and hypervascular; testicular shape and contour are usually maintained.
